Karen Jakovac

Black Belt Nia, discovered Nia in 2006 when a serendipitous occurrence brought a Nia class to the studio next door to her daughter’s ballet class. She heard the joyful noises and knew she needed to be part of the fun. She has been moving, dancing, laughing, learning, and spreading the Joy of Movement ever since. In September 2015 Karen completed training to become a Nia Black Belt instructor. Karen’s passion is to help others fall in love with themselves through the gifts of the Nia Technique.
